Happy New Year 2019!

Welcome to 2019!

As all of you who have followed my newsletter over the years realize, I begin the New Year by introducing the new “Universal Number.” For 2019, the Universal number is {{{{{drum roll}}}}} 3.

Calculating the number of the Universal Year in numerology is determined by adding together the digits of the current Calendar Year, and reducing the sum finally to a single digit. So, the Universal Energy for 2019 is: 2 + 0 + 1 + 9 = 12, and 1 + 2 = 3.

Remember, this is the Universal year. To get your personal year, you would add your day and month of birth to 2019. For example if you were born 4/19, add 4+19 to 2019 and you’d get an 8 personal year, as follows: 4+19+2019 = 35 and 3+5 = 8.

I’m sure there are many who are happy to be saying goodbye to 2018, which had its share of trials and tribulations, leaving many of us emotionally spent. Yes, there were lots of challenges on numerous levels for many folks. Those challenges occurred in various areas of our lives, and prevented some of us from being ourselves for a time.

Perhaps you were one of the folks who recognized a relationship you have outgrown, or discovered that a certain relationship was draining your energy and suffocating your spirit. If so, it was time to let go, and allow your soul to soar.

If you haven’t let go, consider whether now is the time. Look around. There are so many possibilities. Why not free yourself and let go of what no longer works for you? I would suggest that you take a breath and feel that new energy shift, the transition into a new vibration — a Universal 3.

The number 3 also is very significant in other ways, a few “3” examples: Mind, Body, and Spirit; Sun, Moon and Earth; Past, Present and Future; Life, Death and Rebirth; Hope, Charity and Faith.

I have always felt, and will always feel, the importance of energy which is what drives us to make important decisions, change our needs and wants, and determine what shall become more important in our lives going forward.

Knowing in our hearts what’s truly important is crucial. Meanwhile, know in the back of your mind that life can change on a dime. And if an unexpected difficult situation does arise, remember that this can be an opportunity for spiritual growth. Embrace the moment, if you can. Do your best, in any event. And remember of course, that Love is a constant that can help see you through.

So let’s welcome our new energetic year of 2019, and have a little fun. Because the number 3 is about creativity, communication, emotional sensitivity, expression, and socializing. In short, “FUN!” A time to allow our hearts to drive our endeavors, feel more passion, become creative, and infuse more play into our work.

As we venture into 2019, I am, as always, looking forward to seeing so many of you in my upcoming travels. I’ll be returning to Albany, Sturbridge, Fort Lauderdale, and Canyon Ranch in Lenox, MA in February. Some places I haven’t visited in a while are also part of my itinerary, including Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, and Seattle.

Also, speaking of events, be sure to join me on my monthly Blog Talk Radio show on Monday, January 7 at 6 pm EST / 3 pm PST. My guest this month will be astrologer Bill Attride. Bill joins me every January to share the astrological outlook for the New Year. Check out this link to listen to the show live on the 7th!

Bring in the New Year with a BANG! if that works for you. Or maybe just extend or accept and invitation to “Enjoy!” In any event, have some “Fun!”

Happy 2016!

Happy New Year and welcome to 2016, where we enter a new cycle.

In numerology, 2016 is a number 9 year. The World Year Number (also called the Universal Year Number) is a single-digit number that represents the energy for everyone over a given year; 2016 is a 9 Year, because 2 + 0 + 1 + 6 = 9. The Number 9 promotes completion. It signals a time to wrap things up and bring them to a conclusion. The year 2016 is a time to consider what has not been working in your life, and to begin doing things a little differently. To be clear, this is the Universal year. For your own personal year, you need to account for the month and day of your birth. However we are all still affected by the Universal number.

According to Glynis McCants, the 9 World Year Number also promotes being more selfless. Realize that if we do not all work together, we will pay a heavy price. Mother Theresa, Ghandi, and Yogananda were all 9 Life Paths, and the ways in which they lived their lives are perfect examples of the selflessness to which I am referring.

With all this in mind, if you can volunteer to help others in this 9 World Year, it would be a very good idea. You will find that the more you do for others in this particular year, the happier you will be. I mentioned in my latest newsletter that we live longer, healthier, and more enriched lives when we do service. And we all have the perfect opportunity to do that right now.

I believe the recent Paris talks where representatives from around the world met to discuss climate change is a good way to begin a 9 year, by looking to give back to Mother Earth – she who feeds us, clothes us, and houses us.

I personally have always loved cycles, as I do seasons because it’s during these times that we become more conscious of ourselves and relect on our lives – spirituality, mentally and physically. By reflecting, we can see opportunities for changing ourselves in every aspect of our lives. We can look to see what works or doesn’t work for us, which of course includes interacting with loved ones in our life.

Now is the perfect time to reflect on last year, especially if you have to deal emotionally with the loss of a loved one. Was it a parent, partner, sibling, relative or friend, or a furry companion? Each one of these kinds of losses can affect us all differently, and are an instant reminder that life can change in a heartbeat. An appropriate approach when going into a 9 year.

Of course, with one door closes, a new door opens. This is especially true if you had to deal with a loved one through and illness, or having had to sell their house, or go through their things. In such situations, you are sure to come upon memories, some good, maybe some not . . . but memories nonetheless. This can be a life-changing event but perhaps in a wonderful way if it says to you, for example, “I’m not going to wait any longer to go for my dream job, or take that trip I’ve always to take, or save a bit more money, or do [whatever].” We would never move ahead or make important decisions in our lives if not faced with challenges. Positive change is always good for the soul, and for our soul’s growth, even if that change is ignited by the loss of a loved one.

A dear friend of mine who lost her husband of thirty years decided that after his death, she was going to do what they had planned together, a road trip across the country. They had dreamed of this upon his retirement which was still several years away when he passed, but she decided she was going to travel since it was really what she wanted to do anyway. It is now four months later, and she is only halfway though her journey, and loving every minute of Motel 6 life! Her kids think that she has lost her mind. But I think she finally found it by doing something she always wanted to do and never had the chance! She’s hinted she might even sell her house, and move, which would be one very big deal indeed! What a perfect example of how to begin a 9 year! And something to be grateful for.

On that note, go ahead and rock into 2016. Dream and do the dream, for that’s what dreams are for. And don’t forget is that dreams are the most common way our loved ones in spirit make contact.

On my Blog Talk Radio show on January 11th, I’m going to have on Emmanuel Dagher, talking about his his book: Easy, Breezy Prosperity. Are you looking for a boost in prosperity? Then don’t miss that show!

See you all in my travels: To the South (Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee), Chicago, California, and of course my beloved Northeast.

Welcome to February, the month of St. Valentine!

Welcome to February, the month of St. Valentine! A time for sending and receiving cards, flowers, and other gifts–and special times spent together.  Remember though that matters of the heart are truly personal, so there’s no need to limit your valentine to a romantic expression.  I know many mothers who give valentines to their children, and many sons and daughters who in turn give their mothers valentines!  While it’s rare for fathers and their children to exchange valentines, some do, and hey, why not!  It’s all about Love! Enjoy!

Love, like everything else, is a vibration or energy.  And so is prayer, which is a topic I want to focus on this month. I’m often asked, “Do our DPs hear us, and do they hear our prayers?”  The answer is yes, absolutely!  Indeed, prayer can be used to create healing vibrations that transform our own lives and assist our beloved DPs on the Other Side as well. Also, thru prayer, we can prepare ourselves to receive our DPs’ transmissions, by letting them know of our love for them, and showing that we want to hear from them.  Never think that your prayers are not felt or heard-they most certainly are!

One of the most respected members of his field has shown time and time again how prayer can have a very positive effect.  Of course, I’m talking about Dr. Masaru Emoto, of whom I’ve written about before.  His philosophy is that with the power of prayer, all of us can be conduits in healing the planet.  He demonstrated the validity of that message in July of 1999, at a ceremony offering prayers to Lake Biwa, which had been extremely polluted.  About 350 people gathered and participated.  A month later, an article came out in the newspaper saying that this was the first year they didn’t receive hundreds of phones calls complaining about the foul smell from the lake!

In a recent article from the magazine “Pure Inspiration,” there was an interview with Dr. Emoto which focused on his discoveries regarding the power of prayer, and especially his observations about the power of water.  As I recently took a walked along the beach, I couldn’t help thinking about Dr. Emoto’s philosophy in relation to the greatness of the ocean. The ocean does, without question, take your breath away with its magnificent beauty and power.  More about Dr. Emoto’s theories can be found in his books, “The Hidden Messages in Water,” “The True Power of Water,” and “The Secret Life of Water.”

When thinking about the power of prayer with respect to water, I am reminded that throughout history, most indigenous cultures have had a deep respect for Nature.  They also had ways of giving back, ways to say “Thank you,” to show their gratitude for what our Higher Source and Mother Earth have given us.  Native Americans and other indigenous cultures have always believed that Nature is divine, and have always demonstrated a deep respect for that which we are only part of.  Indigenous cultures engage in many celebrations as a way to communicate with the Spirit of Mother Earth.  A form of prayer, if you will, and in the big picture, a demonstration of Love.

As you enjoy your Valentines Day and all of this February 2012, remember to send thoughts of Love to all who are near and dear to you, whether here in the physical, or on the Other side.  Feel free to include a message to Mother Earth and add an extra dash for those who could use just a smile, thought, or a phone call.  And meanwhile, remember, your DP’s can hear your prayers sent on their behalf, for energy is everywhere and everything!
